Hey there! I'm Melinda and this is my very first "official" blog. I must say that without the motivation of a class assignment, I'd likely not be on here. Don't get me wrong, I am a very social person, but I'd rather talk about stuff than write about it...much too little patience [and time]. I've been told that I'm pretty good at getting my emotions down on the computer (thru emails), but we'll just have to see how this all plays out on my new blog;)
About me...
I'm 26 (in 3 weeks) and I've been married for almost 5 yrs. My husband , Joe, and I have been together for almost 10 years, so we've had a fair share of the good, the bad, and the ugly. We have 2 absolutely gorgeous girls! Yeah, sure, I may have a personal bias, but in all reality, they are just darn cute. My oldest Maya is 3 1/2 yrs. old and Matia (my other daughter) is 9 months. Just this family alone can foster an array of blogging material...you'd be surprised the stories you come by just by being a parent. Oh, and since my husband just ended his truck driving job, I'm sure there will be "many-a moment" when this putting up with each other on the daily will be a little more challenging and exhausting than before [when he was gone for a week at a time]. But really, I'm glad to have him home. Who do you think is watching the girls and I play around on this computer???:)
Hey, you know what??? This isn't that bad. I think I could get the hang of this whole blogging thing. Part me is thinking of a ton of stuff that I could just rant about. I got myself started, that may have been mistake, or, then again, maybe not. I'll just have to remember that that mindless banter for my next post. Note to self...don't forget to get back on here and vent out all your crap:) Now I just have to promise myself not to forgot....lol. That's a whole other blog [story]!:)
